EPW - Charles Frodsham & Co, London, keyless lever, 49mm, heavy 18K gold original HC bearing London hallmarks for 1907, "H M F" in oval cameo for Harrison Mill Frodsham, front with bird of prey above his kill and a capital "C," gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-pin-set, fully capped lever escapement, 19J, gilt mvt, s#09037 with matching serial number within case and to dial. Gross weight of assembled watch 74.7 dwt (116.2 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, superb gilt tone, main plate with long perimeter scratch from "Bond" to end of "Strand" markings; nearly flawless dial with some light circular hand rub within seconds-register; virtually mint hands; case shows light wear, scattered fine scratches and profuse micro-fine scratches, dent to lower-right rear perimeter extending a bit to adjacent area of band at 10, reduced engraving detail, front leaving thin bit of gap to band at both sides when closed, rear leaving thin bit of gap to band along right side when closed, case front, rear and cuvette open short of 90 degrees (to approximately 80 degrees); tight bow, crown shows light wear; good glass crystal.
